So, I know where I want to spend all of my Sundays now. A friend of mine recently moved into an awesome loft apartment in OKC — and so naturally we did a portrait session to celebrate. I love shoots like this because I think it’s important to document the spaces we live in as the years go by. A lifestyle session allows us to revisit our living spaces and remember small details we may have otherwise forgotten. They’re also a really comfortable way to have your portrait made, since you’re in your own home and away from any bystanders.
Krystal and Kellan‘s earthy-meets-vintage apartment is an open loft style space with big beautiful windows and the prettiest natural light a photographer could ask for. Many of the gems within the decor were found while thrifting. Krystal is one of those people that just always seems to find something great when thrifting (obviously,) so she definitely needs to take me with her next time!
We had a great time goofing around, drinking coffee, and listening to records. In fact, they introduced me to a new band; The Books. Give them a listen if you’re feeling adventurous.

Asking questions are genuinely nice thing if you are not understanding something completely, except this article offers nice understanding even.
